Our commitment
Teido is committed to preventing money laundering, terrorist financing and other financial crime. We comply with applicable AML/CTF laws and maintain robust controls across onboarding, transaction monitoring and reporting.
Know Your Customer (KYC)
Before establishing a business relationship we verify the identity of each customer, ultimate beneficial owner and authorised representative using independent and reliable sources.
- identity verification using government-issued documents;
- verification of legal entity registration and structure;
- sanctions, PEP and adverse media screening;
- ongoing due diligence throughout the relationship.
Transaction monitoring
All activity on the Teido platform is continuously monitored against risk-based rules and behavioural analytics. Suspicious activity is investigated and, where appropriate, reported to the relevant authorities.
Training
All employees receive AML training at induction and annually thereafter. Specialist training is provided to compliance, risk and customer-facing teams.
Reporting and record-keeping
We maintain comprehensive records of customer due diligence, transactions and internal reports for the periods required by law. Suspicious Activity Reports are filed with the appropriate financial intelligence unit when warranted.
